SPORTS EDUCATION'S CRUCIAL ROLE

India is the youngest country in the world with over 50% of her population below 25 years. Yet China (1.35bn pop.) is a world leading Olympics medal winner compared to India's dismal record (1.23bn pop.).

The role of sports in developing a happier, more productive generation cannot be overemphasized. Key takeaways that are crucial lifetime benefits include attributes like fair play and teamwork, at home or at work.

The mentors will discuss the following:

  • How clear-cut plans for talented youngsters would see better enrolments.

  • What really constitutes top class facilities and the importance of better -educated teachers to develop international class sportspersons.

  • Crucial elements like adopting fixed uniform curriculum.

  • Learning from leading academies in our country, among others.

  • Mentors will address these and other queries during their session at Connectivate.

HOW TO WRITE AWARD WINNING STORIES?

Connectivate examines different genres of writing as a skill set. Story writing in its shortest form has become a valuable business and branding tool in the online space. However, it’s another story in the standard long form of storytelling. Several aspects need to be looked into before one can become a successful writer. Some of the insights that we can expect to be exchanged cover topics like –

  1. Writing for oneself . This would mean handling subjects one truly cares about and that others should know about.

  2. The discipline of getting into one’s own space everyday and writing regularly.

  3. How to create a first draft and then stepping back to review and mercilessly edit.

  4. Creating the story plot and not losing sight of it.

The critical component of transference, i.e transferring the idea from the writer’s head to that of the readers.

All these and more will be dealt with in this exciting student mentor interactive lecture.
